NCF Update 05/03/25

Good afternoon church family,

Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day and I am looking forward to being with you! As we prepare to come together to worship and honor Christ in the morning, I would encourage you to be praying for one another. Perhaps the Lord will put in your mind the name or face of someone he would like for you to pray for. By praying for one another, we are preparing for the work the Lord wants to do in us when we come together. Brothers and sisters, the gathering of the local church together is sacred and critical for the mission of Christ being formed in us and in our community. I encourage everyone to make it a priority to come and be a part of what the Lord is doing here at Serve. Every part of this body is critically important to the mission Christ has called us to. We need one another.

We will gather for prayer in the morning at 9:30am and for worship at 10:45am. Our focus Bible passage is Revelation 19:17-21. The title for the message is The Fate of the Beast as we will behold John’s vision of the final battle, and God’s ultimate judgement of evil. We are encouraged as we see that God will soon do away with evil, and that we who are with Christ will be victorious in him for all eternity. What a glorious future we have in Christ!

Tomorrow afternoon at 5pm we will be hosting a special time of worship and prayer with our friends from Tulakes Baptist Church. This will take place at Serve. We would love to have you here with us.

I pray that you will have a blessed afternoon, and that your Saturday will prove to be restful in the Lord. May his grace and peace be with you.

In His steps,

Pastor Nick

Psalm 139:16-18 CSB — “Your eyes saw me when I was formless;
all my days were written in your book and planned
before a single one of them began. God, how precious your thoughts are to me;
how vast their sum is! If I counted them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand;
when I wake up, I am still with you.”

P.S. Be praying for our sister Ann McMillan. She is in the hospital and has been dealing with some difficult health challenges. The Lord is with her, and I know that he hears our prayers on her behalf.
