Nick Tarter, Elder/Senior Pastor

Pastor Nick and his wife Stacey have been married for 18 years. They have 4 children. They are both native Okies, born and raised in the OKC Metro. Pastor Nick has deep roots in the Bethany area. He grew up near Lake Overholser where his parents still live. He has served in churches across the state of Oklahoma as a pastor, ministry leader, church planter, and as a church planting strategist. He earned his undergraduate degree in Humanities and Philosophy from University of Central Oklahoma and went on to earn a Master of Arts in Theology from Liberty University. He is passionate about Christ, fidelity to God’s Word, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and equipping the church to be who Christ called us to be.

Dwight Cunkle, Elder/Pastor

Pastor Dwight Cunkle teaches vocal music at Classen SAS MS in OKC. He and his wife have four adult children, two of whom graduated from Bethany HS and one from SNU. Barbara and Dwight have sown their lives into young adults during their 50 years of marriage, having had more than 20 live with them. Dwight also loves to lead and train people in worship in Spirit and Truth, and he and Barbara enjoy time with their six grandchildren. Dwight earned a Masters in Church Growth from Southwestern Christian here in Bethany.

Kendra Cunkle, Serve Manager and Worship Ministry Lead

Kendra graduated from SNU with a music degree. She leads worship on Sunday mornings here at NCF. She serves as the manager of our coffee shop, Serve Coffee and Community. She paints, teaches piano privately, has released her own CD out of Nashville, and is gifted to bring beauty whether in garden, decor, music, art and now in coffee. Part of the vision for Serve is to unite college students and the church in service projects that to build and better our community.
