Good afternoon church family,
Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day! I look forward to gathering together with you so that we might celebrate Christ and encourage one another in His name. I hope you will join us at 9:30 a.m. for fellowship groups and at 10:45 a.m. for worship.
Our focus passage for tomorrow is Philippians 4:10–14. In these verses, Paul gives us the secret to enduring anything that comes our way. Spoiler alert: the secret is Christ. We will explore together Paul’s call to root our lives in Him so that we can be perpetually filled with joy, rather than being tossed to and fro by the daily happenings of our lives.
I hope and pray that you have had a wonderful Saturday so far. May you find time each week on this day to rest and reflect on the many ways in which Christ has expressed His love and favor toward you. You are a dearly loved son or daughter of our Father in heaven! May you never forget that. For me, it is that reality that has given me strength to push through even the most difficult days. I know that I have a future with Christ, and if you are in Christ, so do you.
I look forward to seeing you tomorrow! I encourage you to take time to pray for one another, especially as the Lord brings brothers and sisters to your mind. The peace of Christ is with us, and His grace empowers us to do everything He has called us to do—for our good and His glory.
In His steps,
Pastor Nick
Philippians 4:12-13 NASB20 — “I know how to get along with little, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
