Church Update 03/28/26

Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day! I’m looking forward to gathering together with you. It is also Palm Sunday, which marks the beginning of the week leading up to Easter. This is a very important time within the church calendar because our entire faith hinges upon the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we celebrate with great jubilation because our Lord is risen, and because He is risen, we have life.

Our focus Bible passage for tomorrow is Philippians 2:19-30. In this passage, Paul holds up two men as wonderful examples of the Christ-minded lifestyle that he has been talking about throughout the whole letter. Palm Sunday is all about preparing the way of the Lord, but not on Sunday morning only. In truth, every day is about this for the Christian. We are preparing the way for the Lord around us by working to live our lives in a manner that is consistent with the gospel. Join us at 9:30am for Fellowship Groups and at 10:45am for worship as we explore these things together.

Easter Week Schedule
Wednesday – 6:30pm: A special Community Prayer Service remembering Christ’s love and service toward His disciples on the Passover before He was crucified.
Friday – 6:30pm: Good Friday Service
Sunday – 10:45am: Easter Service

Church Work Day
Today we had a wonderful work day at the church building. Many showed up to help clean up our building and grounds. Everyone did a fantastic job, and the fellowship was just as great as the work. Thank you to those who took the time to come and help.
May the grace and peace of the Lord be with you all. See you in the morning!

In His steps,

Pastor Nick

Philippians 2:29-30 CSB — Therefore, welcome him in the Lord with great joy and hold people like him in honor, because he came close to death for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up what was lacking in your ministry to me.
