Good afternoon church family,
I hope that each of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I look forward to being with you tomorrow as we celebrate the Lord’s day together. Is it true joy and honor to be able to come together in his name.
Join us at 9:30am for Sunday School/Prayer Group and at 10:45am for worship service. Tomorrow we begin the Advent season! Our focus Bible passage will be Malachi 1:1-5 as we explore the heart of the Christmas season, that is our God who loved us first. He gave us his best by sending us his son Jesus, and now he calls us to give him our best by living for him. May the Lord grant us open hearts and minds as we gather tomorrow.
I encourage everyone to read through the bulletin each Sunday, as there are several important calendar events lined out for us there. If you want to know what is going on in TCF during the Christmas season, that is the place to find it all. You can also see our seasonal schedule by clicking on the calendar link on this website.
Tonight at 6pm there will be a night of worship at the TCF building. All are welcome to come for a dedicated time of prayer and worship.
May we continue to pray for one another often as the Lord brings us to mind. I pray that his grace will overshadow everything about you today. Saturdays are a gift given to us by God, a day to pause and to reflect on his goodness. We need this as a regular rhythm to keep us grounded in him rather than floundering in our own fears and doubts.
May the grace and peace of the Lord be with you all.
In his steps,
Pastor Nick
Psalm 91:9-10 ESV — “Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place—
the Most High, who is my refuge— no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.”
