TCF Update 10/11/25

Good afternoon Church family,

Tomorrow is the Lord’s day! I look forward to gathering together with you as we continue our fellowship together, encouraging one another and building one another up in the Lord. Join us at 9:30am for Sunday School classes and at 10:45am for worship service at 6715 NW 50th St in Bethany.

Our focus Bible passage for tomorrow is Deuteronomy 6:4-9. We will continue to explore the idea of Christ as the one who was perfectly faithful to God’s covenant in our place and who now empowers us by the Holy Spirit to live faithful lives in him. We have a holy and righteous calling to work out our salvation, and the Spirit has given us the power to do this and to pass the truth of the gospel on to others. I hope you will make it a priority to join us tomorrow morning.

On October the 25th The City of Bethany is hosting its annual Fall Festival. Our church is planning to participate in both of our locations. We will have ministry outreach happening at our Serve Coffeehouse (6736 NW 39th Expressway) as well as trunk or treat at our church building (6715 NW 50th). We encourage everyone to participate in some way. The Fall Festival has always been a wonderful connecting point between our church and our larger community. If you are interested in hanging out at Serve, handing out candy, and being available to pray for people please reach out to Jacob Williams or Ryan Stephens. If you are interested in bringing your car up to the church building and participating in the trunk or treat, let us know that as well. We would appreciate candy donations also. There are some baskets in the foyer of the church sanctuary where you can drop off bags of candy. You can also donate to the cause if that is your preference. If so, you may drop your donation in the offering plate. Just be sure to put it in an envelope marked “fall festival” so we will know that is what it is for.

We continue to pray for several people, but we especially ask for prayer for our deacon Hal as he continues to recover from some recent health challenges. Pray for his healing and that the Lord will grant peace to his wife Myra.

May the grace and peace of the Lord be with you all. You are loved, appreciated, and you are being prayed for on a regular basis by our church staff. See you tomorrow!

In His steps,

Pastor Nick

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 CSB — “These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. “Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
