Good afternoon church family,
May the peace of the Lord be with you on this lovely Oklahoma Saturday. I hope and pray that you have found time to rest in the Lord and to reflect on his goodness toward you.
Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day! As always, we have the privilege of gathering together as the body of Christ. Tomorrow we will gather at Serve. The area behind the building is still a little bit of a mess, but the back door will be accessible and both bathrooms are working as they should once again.
Tomorrow Scott will be bringing the word as we prepare to begin our new series in the book of Acts in a couple of weeks. Join us at 9:30am for prayer and at 10:45am for worship.
Our fellowship meal for the month will take place on August 24th. We will have a sign up sheet going around tomorrow, so be sure to sign up to bring something to share with everyone.
Last Sunday was a fantastic time together as we gathered with our friends from Tulakes for the first time. The Lord really showed up and ministered among us! I know at least a couple of people received some measure of healing through prayer which was a wonderful thing. I encourage everyone to continue to be in prayer as we work towards the unification of our two churches into one body. The Lord has continued to give us grace as we have worked through this process, and I believe we are only just beginning.
Let us look forward to our time together tomorrow morning. There is wonderful grace and power from Christ to grow as his disciples when we come together. May the Lord empower us as we continue to learn what it means to lay our lives down in service to him and to one another.
In His steps,
Pastor Nick
