NCF Update 04/26/25

Good morning church family,

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful, rainy Oklahoma day. I always thank the Lord when our reservoirs get filled up. According to Matthew 5:45, he “sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous” alike. He is a kind Lord, and the rain is a sign of his care and concern for this world he created. And yet he has special concern for all of us who are in Christ Jesus. We always have reason to rejoice in him because he has not only given rain to water us and our land, but he has given us the water of life to sustain us eternally in him. May you find time to pause and to praise the Lord today, for he has done great things for you!

Tomorrow we get the joy of gathering together on The Lord’s Day! We had a wonderful time last Sunday as we celebrated Easter together. We missed those who were not able to join us. We were blessed with some visitors and the house was full, as were our hearts from the fellowship and ministry times. I hope you will make plans to join us in the morning for prayer and for worship. Prayer begins at 9:30am with worship service following at 10:45am.

Our focus passage for tomorrow is Revelation 19:11-16. Through this text we catch a glimpse of Jesus, the white rider, in all of his glory, power, and might. The one who comes to make all things new and every wrong right is coming! May our hearts be filled with joy as we think on him.

I am looking forward to spending time with you all tomorrow morning. May the Lord’s grace and peace mark this day for you. May he fill you with joy and make every path before you straight today. He is the Lord above all, and he is with us who are walking in the redemption life of Christ. I love and appreciate you all!

In His steps,

Pastor Nick

Psalm 76:11-12 CSB — “Make and keep your vows to the LORD your God;
let all who are around him bring tribute
to the awe-inspiring one. He humbles the spirit of leaders; he is feared by the kings of the earth.”
