Church Update 09/27/25

Good afternoon church family,

I am looking forward to celebrating the Lord’s Day with you tomorrow! Join us at 9:30am for Sunday School classes. Joy’s class, the youth class, and the prayer group (led by Beth) will all be meeting at that time. We will begin worship at 10:45am as usual.

Tomorrow and every Sunday moving forward we will be meeting at the Tulakes building for our Sunday gathering. I also want to remind you that we are having a congregational meeting after service for the purpose of adopting some important aspects of our corporate structure moving forward. The business items will include…

  1. Officially adopting the name Tulakes Covenant Fellowship
  2. Adopting our Constitution and Bylaws (a copy will be attached at the end of this post if you would like to read through it beforehand)
  3. Being sure our ministry leadership structure is communicated well

I have every confidence that our meeting will be a good, unifying, and productive time together as we iron out what our operating structure will be as a newly unified church family. I continue to pray that the Lord will grant us grace and peace as we move into the next steps of our process together. There are many good and wonderful things ahead for us. I realize that working through some of these business items might not be the most exciting thing in the world but it is necessary and I so very appreciate your presence and participation.

Our focus Bible passage for tomorrow is Ephesians 6:18-20. We will be focusing on the importance and power of prayer in our lives. This will likely be the last entry in our mini sermon series called “Every Good Endeavor.” Hopefully the Lord has used this time in Ephesians 6 to build resilience and gospel resolve in us as a church family.

May the grace and peace of the Lord be with each and every one of us. I pray that you will find time to rest in the goodness of Christ towards you on this beautiful Saturday. See you in the morning!

In His steps,

Pastor Nick
