Church Update 06/27/26

Good afternoon Church family,

What a blessed and beautiful Saturday we have on our hands today. My hope and prayer for each one of you is that the Lord will meet you right where you are today, that He will refresh you, and that you will be well prepared to join us for worship tomorrow morning. Our Father in heaven has great care and concern for each one of His children, and I am confident that not a single one of us is lacking regarding His favor, which is ours in Christ. Rejoice, dear brothers and sisters! We have a God who loves us, and He has proved that this is true in the most profound way possible by sending His Son to us.

Join us tomorrow morning for Fellowship Groups at 9:30 and for our Worship Service at 10:45. Do you have a friend who does not have a church home? Invite them to join us! There is always room for everyone in our Lord’s Day family gathering. Our focus Bible passage for tomorrow is Acts 2:19–21 as we finish what we started three weeks ago when we engaged with Peter’s interaction with Joel’s prophecy regarding the last days. I believe the Lord desires to equip us to be maximally effective as witnesses for Christ, holding firmly the tools of His knowledge and wisdom and empowered with boldness by the Holy Spirit.

Today, several people from our church went out into the neighborhoods and prayed for our community while passing out VBS flyers. We are indeed hosting VBS at our church from July 27–31. You can sign up your child by clicking here. Feel free to share this link with others who might be interested in having their little one(s) join us.

May the grace and peace of the Lord be with you. Don’t forget to be praying for one another and for our church community. Our dear sister Beth Walsh had surgery this past week and we are especially praying for her swift recovery. I love and appreciate each one of you. See you in the morning!

In His steps,

Pastor Nick

Acts 2:21 ESV — And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’
