Good afternoon church family!
I hope that today finds you well and enjoying the full richness of the grace you have received in Christ. Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day which means we have the blessing of gathering together to honor Christ and to build one another up. It is my hope and prayer that each of you will prioritize the assembly of the body of Christ, as it is extremely important for us to be together for the sake of Christ’s glory and our mutual encouragement. I know of no greater way for Christians to grow into the fullness of Christ than to be together with other Christians. Combined with a daily pattern of prayer and spending time in God’s word, our time together becomes extremely effective for our sanctification in Christ.
Join us at 9:30am for Sunday School classes and Prayer Group. We will be meeting in the same rooms we were in last Sunday. If you have questions about this don’t hesitate to reach out. Worship Service will begin at 10:45am in the Sanctuary.
All are welcome also, to come early at 8:30am for a special breakfast hosted by the TCF deacons.
Jacob, Scott, Beth, Stacey, and I have spent the past week at the Convergence Church Network Annual Gathering followed by a wonderful ministry equipping time at the Remnant Conference in The Woodlands, TX. We are excited to return home and to bring the many things the Lord has taught us back to you. We are confident that the Lord has many wonderful things for us to share together in the coming weeks.
In preparation for tomorrow, I would encourage you to read Deuteronomy 6. We will be talking about our call to covenant faithfulness in Christ. This is important for us as we continue to forge our path forward together with the Holy Spirit’s help.
We thank the Lord that Hal has been released from the hospital and that he received the treatment he needed. There are many others whom we are praying for as a church family. I always encourage us to be praying for one another, especially as the Lord lays someone on your heart.
May the peace of Christ mark this beautiful day for you. May you find rest for your soul in his name. I love and appreciate you all. See you in the morning!
In His steps,
Pastor Nick
