NCF Update 08/02/25

Good afternoon Church family,

I hope that you are enjoying this beautiful Saturday. The Lord has truly given us some unseasonably wonderful weather. May he grant you time today to rest and to reflect on his goodness in your life.

Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day! How blessed are we to be called children of God through our Lord Jesus Christ? It is our great joy to gather together each Sunday to honor the fact that our Lord is risen and to build one another up in the faith into which we have been delivered into by his grace. Join us for prayer at 9:30am and for worship service at 10:45am.

Our focus Bible passage for tomorrow is Revelation 22:12-21. This is our last sermon in the Revelation series which has been a great blessing to me, and I hope a great encouragement to you also. Soon we will be starting a new series in the book of Acts as we consider what it means to be a church planted in the way of Jesus. I do hope you will make a point to be with us in the morning at Serve.

Please be praying for our dear brother Scott Walsh as he will be going to preach at Tulakes tomorrow morning. I have every confidence that he will be a blessing to them, and that he will represent the Lord and our church well. May the Spirit empower him with the gift of teaching, and may he grant the people the gift of hearing and doing the Word. We also continue to pray for the Walsh family, and especially for Micah’s complete healing from epilepsy. There is no doubt the Lord can do this, and I believe that he will. Jesus says we don’t have because we don’t ask, so I will not give up asking until the Lord gives us this grace gift.

Tomorrow at 5:00pm we will have a special prayer gathering at the Tulakes building. I know everyone is busy, but I think it is very important for us to make time to come together for prayer as we seek the Lord for wisdom and direction regarding the future we have together with the Tulakes people. It would be wonderful if you would join us. All ages are welcome. The prayers of our little kids are just as powerful as ours, maybe even more so (Jesus indeed loves the little children).

May the grace and peace of the Lord be with you all. If you have any prayer need, please do not hesitate to reach out. I love to pray for you and our church wants to help if you have any needs. I love and appreciate you all, and I’m so grateful to be your pastor.

In His steps,

Pastor Nick
