This is coming a little late today, but it has been a full Saturday! I hope you have had a blessed day. I am looking forward to being together with you as we celebrate the Lord’s day tomorrow.

As we enter into Sunday fellowship in the morning, we are planning to follow up on what I preached last week about following the Holy Spirit in evangelism. Our focus tomorrow is following the Holy Spirit in worship and truth. What does the Bible say about Jesus and us when it tells us that we are anointed? How do we learn to live as the body of Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father and the Son into us? For me, the anointing of the Spirit is truly about being empowered to reflect the image of Christ into this world to the full extent of God’s design for my life. I’m excited to have Pastor Dwight share with us about this! Because of the particular topic, Dwight and I will also be participating together in leading some of the music tomorrow. It is my prayer that the Lord will give us a fresh vision of his heart for us and for our community as we worship and study his word together tomorrow.

Tomorrow is our fellowship meal day! We hope you will all plan on joining us for lunch right after service. Our theme is back to school, and you are invited to bring a dish to share with everyone. Even if you are not able to bring something, there will be plenty of food and all are welcome.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
May the grace and peace of the Lord rest on you as you rest this evening. Don’t forget to continue to pray for one another as the Lord brings people to mind. Peggy Harris’s funeral was beautiful. Pastor Ben did a really nice job of honoring her life and reminding us all of the hope of heaven. Please continue to pray for Roger and Peggy’s family.
