As is our habit, we are blessed to draw together in the name of Jesus as His church. I hope you will make it a priority to be with us.

Tomorrow is a very special Sunday as we have the opportunity to see and hear Ethan White preach the Word. Ethan is our deaf ministry pastor who is currently going through the process of becoming a North American Mission Board missionary. I am very excited about what the Lord will do through Ethan and his wife Rachel as their ministry continues to grow in our community.

Did you know that only 2% of the global deaf population has a saving relationship with Jesus Christ? They are an unreached people group, and many of them live right in our backyard. It is this realization, along with our growing friendship with Ethan and Rachel, that has led our church to want to make a significant ministry investment in this area. What started out as friendship has moved into a partnership. I believe the Lord wants to use us together to advance His kingdom purposes among the deaf community in our city and all around the world. It is my hope and prayer that the Lord will stir many of us to invest some of our time and resources into coming alongside Ethan and Rachel for the sake of this wonderful gospel vision to reach the deaf. God can do it! I have every confidence that He will. An older pastor I once knew used to often say, “If it’s God’s will, He will provide the bill.” Let’s be praying together for the White family and this wonderful and critical ministry they are working to launch. I would also encourage each one of us to take a moment to shake their hand and give them a word of encouragement\/support. Let’s make sure they know how loved and appreciated they are!

May we continue to be in prayer for one another. Harper Pugh is in the hospital. She underwent a procedure that doctors hope will alleviate some of the problems she has been having with anxiety and seizures. She is also recovering from COVID. I know she very much appreciates the prayers of her church family. Pray also for Vickie Edwards as she is working through various things related to losing Terry, her dear longtime friend and father figure to Nathan. We continue to pray for Pam Dihmes and Betty Cason also as they recover from recent health ordeals. If there are any prayer requests that you would like to have included here, please send them to me.

There will be no Wednesday evening activities this week due to Spring Break.

May the grace and peace of Christ be with you on this wonderful Saturday. You are loved and appreciated. I look forward to being with you tomorrow morning!

In His steps,

Pastor Nick

Philippians 2:12 CSB \u2014 “Therefore, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, so now, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Good afternoon church family, Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day!
